The Bath Novel Award 2019

 

 

The Bath Novel Award is an international prize for novel manuscripts written for adults or young adults. Recipients include Joanna Barnard, Clarissa Goenawan, Kim Sherwood, Sophie Draper and Abi Darè

Eligibility: open worldwide to unpublished, and independently published novelists.

Prize: £2,500 plus literary agent introductions and manuscript feedback

Shortlist prize: literary agent introductions and manuscript feedback 

IuxouSm3_400x400Longlist prize: The writer of the most promising longlisted novel will receive an online place worth £1,800 on Edit Your Novel the Professional Way sponsored by Cornerstones Literary Consultancy 

Key dates: entries open 5th December 2018 with submissions invited until 2nd June 2019

Submissions: first 5,000 words plus one page synopsis of novels in any genre
