We are delighted to announce the shortlist for The Bath Novel Award 2019, a £2,500 international prize for emerging novelists.
1,343 novels were submitted between December 2018 and June 2019, with a 26 strong longlist announced on June 21st in what has proved to be an exceptionally strong year for manuscripts about family, integrity and love.

2019 Judge Hellie Ogden of Janklow and Nesbit Literary Agency will announce the winner of The Bath Novel Award 2019 at a reception at Bath’s Museum of Architecture on September 19th.
One longlisted writer will also win a place worth £1,800 on Edit your Novel the Professional Way from Cornerstones Literary Consultancy.
