We are delighted to announce the Bath Novel Award 2020 longlist.
With 1,735 manuscripts submitted between 2nd December 2019 and 31st May 2020 this has proved our most competitive year to date and we were delighted by the standard.
2020’s longlist features writers in Australia, England, New Zealand, Singapore, the UK and USA. Seven are returning listees: two with revised drafts and five with new manuscripts.
As submissions are read “blind” we’ll be keeping author names under wraps until 2020 judge, Jenny Savill of Andrew Nurnberg Associates international literary agency announces the winning novel on September 24th. The shortlist will be announced on July 31st.
