HOW TO APPLY FOR A SPONSORED ENTRY PLACE

Submit your novel using our online entry form selecting the “sponsored entry application” option in the entry fee payment section.

Should applications exceed the number of sponsored places, the most promising novels will be selected.

If longlisted, applicants will be contacted and must be able to provide proof of financial eligibility such as: Universal Credit; Personal Independence Payment; Disability Living Allowance; full-time study; full-time carer. All details will be kept entirely confidential.

CAN YOU SUPPORT WRITERS ON A LOW INCOME?

The Bath Novel Awards are solely funded by entry fees. If you are able to sponsor a writer who is unable to afford entry fees you can find details on how to do so here. 100% of donations received fund places for writers on a low income.
