Sponsored entries for low income writers

Our gratitude to Kit de Waal for her generosity and assistance in establishing our sponsorship scheme for writers on low incomes who are otherwise unable to afford entry fees. To date, 91 writers have received free places for our awards.

Grateful thanks to 2018 winner Cassie Powney who generously opened the sponsorship scheme for  The Bath Children’s Novel Award 2019 by pre-paying places for four writers. Our sincere thanks also to 2018 shortlistees Hana Tooke and Lucy Cuthew who are both sponsoring two places for this year’s prize.

If you or your organisation would be interested in sponsoring a low income writer, please contact caroline@bathnovelaward.co.uk
