The Bath Novel Awards are international writing competitions for novels and children’s books. Founded in 2013 in the UNESCO city of Bath, £10,000 is awarded annually to unagented writers who may be not-yet-published, self-published or independently published. The Bath Novel Award closing date is 31st May and is awarded in September. The Bath Children’s Novel Award closing date is 30th November and is awarded in February. Recipients include: Abi Daré for the manuscript of international bestseller The Girl with the Louding Voice; official James Bond author Kim Sherwood for Testament, Struan Murray for Orphans of the Tide and Matthew Fox for The Sky Over Rebecca.
