We are delighted to announce the Bath Children’s Novel Award 2020 longlist.
With 1,012 submissions from writers in 35 countries this has proved our most competitive year to date and we were delighted by the standard.
2020’s longlist features 22 novels, including seven by returning listees. Junior Judges aged seven to seventeen years will read the fulls of these novels during the school holidays and we will announce their shortlist on January 12th.
As submissions are read “blind” we’ll be keeping all author names under wraps until February 11th when the winning manuscript, as selected by 2020 Judge, Stephanie Thwaites of Curtis Brown, will be revealed.
