Established in 2013, the Bath Novel Awards are two annual international prizes for emerging novelists.
The Bath Children’s Novel Award is a £3,000 prize for manuscripts written for children or teens and we are delighted to announce 2021’s longlist.
997 manuscripts were submitted between 1st June and 30th November 2021 by writers in 44 countries. This year’s list is 19 novels strong with fifteen MG and four YA manuscripts.
Junior Judges aged seven to seventeen years will read the fulls of these novels during the school holidays and we will announce their shortlist in early January 2022.
As submissions are read “blind” we’ll be keeping author names under wraps until February 2022’s announcement of the winning manuscript as judged by Sam Copeland of Rogers, Coleridge and White Literary Agency.
